Last month, I wrote about my friend Penny’s salad table and cold frame on wheels. Inside the table were all sorts of seedlings for salads.
They survived our brief interim cold spell and continue to grow. It looks like there’s enough to keep Penny and her husband in salad days for quite some time.
Meanwhile she has peas sprouting at the side of the house and a trellis ready for them to climb.

Spinach, lettuce varieties, kale and mustard seem to be thriving. Pea trellis is at upper center of photo, next to porch.
Garden on, Arlington!
