The garden is looking so end of season. I have a sense of sadness mingled with relief. There are still some possibilities.
There won’t be many more okra. But the peppers could last until a frost gets them.
The same goes for the eggplants.
The harlequin bugs apparently discovered my kale, but they won’t last much longer either.
The bees are out getting nourishment from the last of the season’s flowers.
In a few weeks, I’ll put it to bed and bring out the cold frame, just in case I want to extend the season for salad greens!
