The Heat Pours Down

We’ve had some hot days, with temperatures in the mid and upper nineties, but the gardens so far are okay, probably because it’s been so wet.  The bees are buzzing about their business.

The squash and zucchini are growing by leaps and bounds beneath the large plant leaves.

And I’ve already eaten a large portion of this harvest from last weekend.  It’s so nice not to have buy vegetables at the grocery store!

Chard, okkra, cucumbers, kale, pepper, and zucchini were among the goodies this week.

Stay cool and eat well!
